Enjoy a Clean, Mold-Free, and Healthy Pet
As we often say, there is no substitute for mold source removal, but when your pets are the source, treatment is the best and only option. We would rather be sick than get rid of our pets. With CitriSafe products, pet owners can live more comfortably with their pets, while also protecting themselves and their pets from the health effects of mold exposure. With this protocol, you will learn how to test your pets for mold, clean and remove mold from your pets, treat your pet’s things, and detox your pet.
Can my pet spread mold?
Your Fur Baby Can Be a Source for Mold, Yeast, and Bacteria
When testing for the presence of indoor microbiologic contamination (mold, yeast, and bacteria), it’s important that all potential sources be evaluated. Pets that live indoors are likely contributors to mold, yeast, and bacteria contamination. The fur of pets, similar to carpet, can be a reservoir for mold spores. The mold can get into their fur through digging in decaying debris outside, or by laying on dust inside of a mold contaminated environment. If the pet’s immune system is depressed, the mold, yeast, and bacteria can also grow internally or on their skin/fur. Once the pet has mold, it can be distributed indoors by the agitation of the fur, such as through petting, playing, wagging their tails, or just plopping down on their beds or furniture.
Can my pets get sick from mold? Yes
It’s Not Just Human Health on the Line
Mold can affect pets in similar ways to how humans are affected. The mycotoxins produced by molds are dangerous to pets and can even contribute to some cancers. Pets can also have opportunistic mold, yeast, and bacteria infections, or simply be allergic to the molds that they are exposed to.

Remedy Removes Mold Without Harming Your Pet
We formulated our Remedy products using natural botanicals with antimicrobial properties, as opposed to toxic chemicals. They are combined with anionic and cationic “soapy” surfactants that attract mold and soil, encapsulate them in micelles, and escort the mold out during rinsing. With Remedy you can keep your pet and their things clean and free of mold.
User Instructions
1. Find out if your pet has mold
Find out if your pet is contaminated by mold with a tap test. Use the same method to test the pet’s bed, favorite couch, chew toy, etc. Keep extra plates in the refrigerator until ready to test again after treatments. After tap testing, replace the lid, place a piece of tape on each side of the plate, label the bottom (date, pet’s name), wrap in tinfoil, and put in a warm spot for 5-7 days. If the plate(s) shows mold growth, you can send it to ImmunoLytics for a comprehensive Lab Analysis and consultation for a small fee.
Wash & dry your hands thoroughly prior to testing
Tap your pet 4 times
Hold the plate so the yellow agar is facing towards the object or pet. (The yellow agar should not touch the object). This will force the mold spores into the air and onto the plate.

4. Detox your pet
Add 1 to 5 drops (depending on what your pet is willing to drink) of Agrumax into 1 gallon of drinking water (use filtered or bottled water – chlorinated water may cause an increase in mold and yeast in your pet). Use this mixture to fill your pet’s water bowl.
